1. Sub-Inspector (General Duty)
The Sub-Inspector General position is a supervisory position that guides junior recruits and manages field operations.
Seats: 43
Age: 18 to 30 years
Education: Intermediate (FA/Fsc)
Responsibility:
- Monitoring daily patrols and security operations
- Reviewing soldiers’ training and performance
- Coordinating law enforcement agencies
- Decision-making and leadership in emergency situations
2. Khateeb
The preacher is part of the Rangers’ religious department and provides daily instruction and guidance to soldiers.

Age: 18 to 30 years
Education: Dars-e-Nizami (FA/Fsc)
Responsibility:
- Delivering Friday and Eid sermons
- Daily prayers
- Giving Islamic lectures or moral training
- Resolving religious problems and providing spiritual counseling
3. Havaldar (General Duty)
A havaldar is a mid-ranking commander who commands the naik and soldiers.

Education: Matric
Responsibility:
- Assignment and supervision of field duties
- Security checks consistent with duty control
- Monitoring discipline of junior ranks
- Preparing reports and briefing superiors
4. Naik (General Duty)
A Naik is a junior non-commissioned officer who oversees daily operations and team discipline.

Education: Matric
Responsibility:
- With soldiers on field duty
- Leading small teams
- Reporting and managing attendance
- Participating in emergency response
5. Soldier (General Duty)
The soldier is the core force of the General Duty Rangers, conducting ground operations.

Education: Middle/Matric
Responsibility:
- Patrol and guard duty
- Internal security and border surveillance
- Rangers guard posts
- On-site deployment in case of emergency
6. Soldier Cook
The soldier takes control of running the kitchen and providing food for the cooking corps.

Age: 18 to 30 years
Education: Middle with Cooking Skills
Responsibility:
- Prepare daily meals according to the diet.
- Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Proper storage and use of food and beverages
- Serving meals to officers and soldiers on time
7. Non-Combatant Employees (NCE)
NCEs are employees who provide support in non-combat roles, such as cleaners, plumbers, electricians, etc.
Seats: 48
Age: 18 to 30 years
Education: Primary/Middle
Responsibility:
- Performing specific technical or manual tasks (cleaning, plumbing, etc.)
- Office and canteen maintenance
- Providing daily support services to Ranger units
- Complete your work on time.

Step-by-step process
Online Registration:
- Candidates Register online at the official website.
- Registration Date: 28th April to 6th May 2025.
Print Registration Slip:
- After submitting the form, print your registration slip.
- The slip will be required during the interview/test.
Physical Test and Preliminary Medical:
- The selected applicants will be called for a physical test.
- Running, push-ups, height/weight test and chest measurement will be conducted.
- A preliminary medical test is also conducted at this stage.
Written Test:
- A written test will be given to the eligible candidates (for the respective posts).
Final Interview and Medical:
- After passing the written and physical tests, a final interview and detailed medical will be conducted.
Training and Placement:
- Successful candidates will be called to the training center.
- After completion of training you will get an official appointment.
Important Notes – Pakistan Rangers Jobs 2025
- Only male candidates can apply (as per advertisement).
- On the day of physical test you must come wearing sports shoes and white clothes.
- Candidates must bring original documents with them: CNIC, Domicile, Educational Certificate, 4 passport size photographs.
- Incomplete applications or applications submitted late will be rejected.
- Government employees must apply with departmental NOC.
- Selection will be purely on the basis of merit and physical fitness.
- They will not be any TA or DA for the test or interview.
