Secondary School Teacher (SST)
Seats: 300
BS: 17
Age: 22 – 30 years
Education: Master’s degree (16 years of education) + B.Ed or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Seats: 400
BS: 17
Age: 20 – 28 years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject (14 years of education) + B.Ed or its equivalent approved by HEC.
Job Responsibilities
- If you are selected for SST or TGT, your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Teaching students in the classroom according to the subject.
- Preparation of lesson plans and academic progress reports.
- Maintain discipline and follow school rules.
- Focus on the upbringing and academic improvement of students.
- Participation in exams, assignments, and extracurricular activities.
- Coordination with school administration and parents.
Jobs are available in each province quota:
- Separate quotas for Punjab, Sindh (Urban/Rural), KPK, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, GB, and Minorities.
- There are separate seats for both male and female candidates.
TGT Subject-wise seat distribution:
- English: 56 (Male), 22 (Female)
- Urdu: 27 (Male), 20 (Female)
- Mathematics: 39 (Male), 22 (Female)
- Physics: 36 (Male), 20 (Female)
- Chemistry: 20 (Male), 22 (Female)
- Biology: 22 (Male), 22 (Female)
Additional age relaxation:
- years for minorities and special areas
- 5 to 15 years for disabled, government employees, retired personnel of the armed forces, widows, etc.
Posting Location:
- Selected candidates can be posted in any city of Pakistan.
